More Libertarian Goodness to Come

I’m just getting started. I have several more chapters in the queue and more in my head. But if you are like the younger me, or many libertarians still active in the LP, even the first few chapters are enough to more than double your effectiveness. You now have the tools to prevent your political discussions from quickly descending into arguments over anarchy or lifeboat situations. And you have a stable three pillar foundation on which to support the case for a libertarian society. Be explicit in their use. All too often libertarians (including yours truly for many years) shift between pillars implicitly and appear slippery thereby. In other words, don’t claim liberty solves all problems and then resort to a natural rights argument when your debate opponent wins a point. Be clear from the start that the case for liberty includes all three pillars, and let each do its job where it is strong.

In the queue I have a big chapter on communicating the case for liberty to Christians, and several on overall strategy. Keep an eye on this directory or subscribe to the blogs RSS feed.
